Climate change is a rising crisis and an ecological emergency. The threat of global warming by the greenhouse gases, is common knowledge, and the building industry is a major contributor to this issue. The study aims to explore the effect of residential buildings on the climate crisis by taking into account UK’s current climate adaptation objectives in order to meet net-zero carbon targets by 2050.
