'To Share' -A Study Library
Second semester we stayed in St Andrews, challenged with designing a library for the University of St Andrews. To begin, our unit were to analyse the town as a group and create a document to show our gained knowledge, finalised with an individually curated map which looked at an aspect of our research that interested us most. From there, working individually onwards, we were given three distinct sites across the town and were expected to create strategies for two, which would inform our choice of site. I chose a site off Scores Road: a large green space walled off to the north & west, and only granting access to pedestrians from the southern footpath.
