Roots are a sensitive subject because of its association to the past and to the ancestry’s aspect that paved the way to today’s culture. For many individuals, such topic can be considered as sacred, due to its attachment to a valuable event or affair.
Since I came to Glasgow, I had altered vibes about various subjects, but the main matter that captivated my attention was the Grand orange lodge of Glasgow, when I first saw it I had the idea of the attachment of the Glaswegians to their origins due to the arrangement of such movement in different places and same period of time, at a certain point I called it national pride, where people seemed happy, coherent and united. But what people don’t know is that this march is not approved by many, and the people that seems in coherence are actually subdivided into three main categories: there’s the marchers/supporters, neutral/police and there’s the opposition/watchers.
The interesting thing is that when u see such scene you’ll get an atmosphere of acceptance even though there’s no acceptance. Which shows the beauty in the embracement of freedom of speech. Each person has the right to practice his/her beliefs without the need to violence. And this is the morals of the Scottish people that collides between respect, approval and peace.
So, not everything that we see is what it seems. Some of the unseen are clothed with the seen.
